Part 2 - The history of the tosa fighting dog

I filmed this discussion between David and Takashi during our trip to Kochi, Japan in May, 2007. The dog fight was taped the day before. It features a yokozuna and an ozeki going for it. If I remember correctly the ozeki dog ended up wining the match.

This film clip is a little longer and has better video quality than the clip uploaded to you-tube. Google video doesn’t have a mb maximum like you-tube does.

Part 1 - Takashi Hirose Introduces The Tosa Fighting Dog Center

This video was shot during our trip to Kochi, Japan in front of the Tosa Fighting Dog Center on Monday, May 14th 2007. The previous day, David and I attended a fighting dog tournament that lasted all day and consisted of 45 matches.

About the video:
David and Takashi are discussing Tosa Dog things.

I included a shot of Sasaki-san (purple stripped jacket) in the fighting ring with a new fighting dog.

The Tosa dogs David and Tamura-san are walking is Taka, the adult male, and U-chan, the puppy. U-chan is an offspring of Tommy.
